Yesterday’s lesson with Dean was such a joy! He played beautifully in our duet, kept a steady rhythm, and really showed how much progress he’s making. I’m so proud of him and all the hard work he’s been putting in!

Dean has started working on a brand-new song this week, and he’s off to a great start. We’ll be recording that one soon—stay tuned!
🎵 Next Stop: The Mississippi!
Dean’s new song is called “Show Boat,” and it tells the story of a paddle boat making its way down the mighty Mississippi River. We talked about what a boat with a paddle wheel looks like and then we watch a video of a paddle boat on the Mississippi. Enjoy this video of the Natchez Steamboat.
We’re going to be recording this song once Dean’s ready—he’s already off to a fantastic start! I can’t wait for you all to hear it.
